Our company’s Ceratech Business Division recently launched ‘ULTRATHERM,’ an ultra-efficient microporous insulation material. Microporous insulation material refers to a whole new type of high-efficiency insulation material in which microscopic spherical Silica particles are compressed/molded together to prevent heat transfer, and countless diaphragms are formed to stop convection and radiation. ‘ULTRATHERM’ uses the structural framework-forming method of Perlite (an exclusive technology available only at KD One) with Fumed Silica to make sure the end product delivers outstanding performance in terms of insulation and strength even at low densities. Heat conductivity at 600℃ is 0.035W/mK, making ‘ULTRATHERM’ 225% better with regards to insulation performance than ‘Aerogel,’ which was widely regarded as the “ultimate insulation product” in the past. ‘ULTRATHERM’ can be used for boilers and turbines at power generation facilities, equipment and piping at petrochemical or oil refining plants to prevent heat from escaping into the atmosphere. This helps save energy, minimize greenhouse gas emissions, and contribute to the development of the nation’s various industries. In that sense, it is the ultimate thermal insulation product. |
