43 News High efficiency heat insulation material Hyperlite wins Presidential Prize at the 3rd National Green Technology Awards 2014-12-19 3438

In a first for an SME, KD Ceratech won the Presidential Prize at the 3rd National Green Technology Awards, which were held at Shilla Hotel on November 15.   The National Green Technology Award, which is sponsored by the Presidential Committee on Green Growth, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, is an institution to select and reward companies, universities and research institutions that develop outstanding green technologies that have excellent technical achievements and are economically feasible.

Hyperlite, our award-winning high efficiency heat insulation material, was developed over 10 years of research and is made of perlite, featuring remarkably enhanced thermal insulation performance compared to other products on the market. It has also been evaluated as having a greenhouse gas reduction effect of 38.46 million tons, which will account for approximately 45% of the national target amount of green house gas reduction, which is 82.94 million tons by 2020.

We will continue to devote ourselves to contributing to low carbon green growth through extensive research and development activities, including the development of mineral materials and organic-mineral combined hybrid materials.
